Telnet în Windows Vista

În mod standard Windows Vista nu instalează clientul Telnet pentru conectarea la sisteme în mod remote însă pute dispune de acesta urmând paşii de mai jos.
1. Click Start apoi Control Panel.
2. Selectaţi Programs and Features.
3. Faceţi click pe “Turn Windows features on or off”.
4. Bifaţi opţiunea Telnet Client.
5. Apăsaţi OK.
6. Va apărea o fereastră ce va confirma instalarea opţiunii.
Acum ar trebui sa aveţi disponibilă comanda telnet în Windows Vista.
PS. Ca bonus va prezint un easter egg existent în telnet.
Tastând în fereastra “Run…” din Windows comanda
telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
veţi putea viziona episodul 4 din Starwars realizat în totalitate in ASCII.
